Privacy Notice

This notice explains what Koitech Global Limited does with personal information collected through this website. It is written to be read, not to be got past.

Who We Are

Koitech Global Limited, registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is London GreenCity, 3rd Floor, ARC West London, Manbre Road, London W6 9RH. We are the data controller for the information described here. For anything in this notice, write to info@koitech.global.

What We Collect, and When

Only what you give us. This site has no accounts, no sign-up, no advertising and no analytics. There are two cases:

• The contact form. Your name, your email address, the topic you pick and whatever you write in the message box. Nothing else is taken from the form, and nothing is pre-filled.
• A flood check on that form. To stop the form being used to send bulk mail, the server keeps a one-way scrambled version of the sending IP address together with the times it was used. It is kept for one hour, it is never read by a person, and it cannot be turned back into an IP address.

Your web browser also tells our host the usual things any server is told to serve a page — an IP address, the page asked for, the browser version. Those records exist to keep the site running and secure.

Why We Hold It, and on What Basis

We use what you send through the form to answer you, and for nothing else. We do not sell it, we do not share it with anyone for their own purposes, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked a question. Under UK GDPR our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you contacted us, so replying to you is what you would expect, and it affects nobody else.

Who Else Sees It

Your message is delivered to three Koitech mailboxes and is handled by our email provider and our website host in the course of delivering and storing it. They act on our instructions. Nobody outside Koitech reads your enquiry for any other reason.

This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. To serve a font, Google's servers receive your IP address. No cookie is set and nothing is stored on your device. See our cookie notice.

How Long We Keep It

We keep an enquiry and our reply for as long as the conversation is live, and then as part of our business records for up to two years, in case you or we need to refer to it. Anything we no longer need is deleted. The flood-check record described above lasts one hour.

Where It Is Held

Our site and mail are hosted in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. If that ever changes, this notice changes with it.

Your Rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, and object to our using it. Email info@koitech.global and we will answer within one month. There is no charge.

If you think we have got it wrong, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

Changes

If we change what we do with personal information, we will change this page and move the date at the top of it.
